 Dr. Sean Russell is a board-certified cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with over 30 years of experience in delivering exceptional surgical care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine, training at world-class institutions such as The Methodist Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, and Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Russell further specialized by completing a thoracic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine, gaining expertise under leading figures in the field.

Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Russell has made significant contributions to the advancement of cardiovascular surgery through clinical practice, groundbreaking clinical trials, and peer-reviewed publications. His leadership roles include serving as Chief of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Dr. Russell is an active member of esteemed professional organizations, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgeons.

  Dr. Peter Mikhail is a board certified cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Toronto, gaining extensive expertise in advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Mikhail further specialized by completing a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery residency at the University of Florida, where he refined his skills in innovative and minimally invasive procedures.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Mikhail has significantly advanced cardiovascular care through clinical expertise, participation in pivotal clinical trials, and contributions to medical literature. He has served in key leadership roles, including Chief of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and Chair of the Cancer Committee. Dr. Mikhail is a distinguished member of professional organizations such as the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
